Offshore Wenduine completed her first deployment for Ampelmann and SSC a few days ago

Offshore Wenduine (OW3) has been converted into a multi-purpose Catamaran Work Boat and been finalized end of April by shipyard Den Breejen under the supervision of Workships Contractors B.V. Her first job was to assist in the testing of the Amplemann L-type access system. Also, the manoeuvrability of the ship in the area of the landing point was successfully assessed. Her job for SSC involved transferring people and fuel to the Met Mast in Ijmuiden.

Offshore Wenduine has been handed over from Shipyard Den Breejen

Our newest addition to the OWS's fleet, Offshore Wenduine, has been handed over this week from shipyard Den Breejen. Sicco Ritsma has been supervising the process in the last few weeks until she got completed today.

Offshore Wenduine is an Ideal vessel for diving support works and can also be adapted to survey and cable works: she has forward moonpool hatch with staircase into the water, as well as aft stairs; two anchors with the possibility of increasing to 4-point mooring; the divers can step in the shower directly from the outside to take off their suit, no need to walk through the vessel; survey desk with two seats; 19inch rack for survey equipment; tracks allow easy fitting of project specific equipment, such as a desk; large storage space and lockers; all seats are KPM DNV-classed suspension seats and each a table tray with power sockets, USB charger and day&night lights. Also, there is a separate crew mess. The RG Seasight fender is one of the best performing ones in the market.
